I've been hunting waterfowl since I was old enough for my dad to take me with him, going on 25 years now.
Other hunting I thoroughly enjoy include bow hunting and turkey hunting, and upland birds with my 2 dogs Gus and Peach, although you can find me in the woods pretty much year round.
Hobbies of mine include golf, story telling, and maple syrup.
Random facts about me? My wife (Katelyn) and I love hiking with our dogs (I think they like the views more than we do!), own and operate a 6 thousand tap Maple Syrup Operation with my brother Jim, called A & A Maple.

My hunting career started a little differently than most. I used to cut my teeth on chasing deer and turkey with my grandfather in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania and Agricultural Fields of Western New York. From the time I was a young boy I tagged along with my grandfather. It wasn't until my senior year of high-school that I was introduced to Waterfowl hunting by my good friend Bryan. From that day forward I was hooked. I remember being young telling my grandfather I wanted to be like one of those cool guys on TV and get to hunt for a living. Now 20 years later I've been able to bring those dreams to fruition and had the opportunity to let my grandfather experience it with me before he passed away.
I owe my entire career in the outdoor industry to him. Without his knowledge and guidance I would have never been where I am today. I am married to my beautiful wife Aleiah Scafetta and we enjoy our free time riding horses both on the trails and at our local rodeos. I also work part time for the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office.
